150 West Main Street
The 150 West Main tower is a testament to the success of Norfolk’s revitalization efforts. As a gateway to the burgeoning downtown haven, the twenty-story building’s ingenious composition creates a strong expression of prosperity and growth, changing a formerly underused parking lot into an energetic urban block.
Floors are divided evenly between a lower 840-space parking structure and 234,000 SF of office space. Interlocking white curtainwall and reflective blue-tinted glass scale the exterior, concealing the parking structure and mirroring the atmosphere to provide a visually dramatic tapestry of clouds, heavens and city. A side-street entrance opens onto a popular pedestrian thoroughfare that leads directly to the primary waterfront park.
The tower permits spectacular 180-degree views of the Elizabeth River and blends into Norfolk’s modern business district.
