The Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan Apartments offer a lifestyle option, new to the city of Virginia Beach, which allows residents to live in an integrated, urban environment enriched with the cultural and social opportunities associated with a metropolitan existence.

CMSS designed the mixed-use building to include 42,000 SF of street level retail; four floors of concealed parking; a fifth-floor clubhouse and open-air plaza deck; topped with a “U”-shaped configuration of 342 apartment units to make 14 stories total. Many of the luxury apartments feature private walk-out or French balconies which give residents views of the growing downtown as well as the Atlantic Ocean and Norfolk skyline in the distance.

The initial success of the $36 million Cosmopolitan Apartments has inspired several projects in the surrounding area designed to capitalize on urban residential market.
