Old Town Village at Fairfax

For a number of years, the City of Fairfax has looked for ways to repair the fragmented, disjointed Old Town District with a program that restitches the community fabric and satisfies modern real estate market needs. CMSS and a team of developers were selected to plan and design a reconstituted, holistic town center for the community that celebrates Fairfax’s historic character.

This 5-block urban infill/revitalization project will include a main 120,000 SF mixed-use building with retail, office space and a 900-car parking deck; a hotel; condominium residences; a library with attached parking; a retail structure; and a civic square. Ultimately, this restored district will become a place for both residents and visitors to rediscover the city’s legacy and enjoy community events.
