Stafford County Master Redevelopment Plan
The Stafford County Redevelopment Master Plan focuses on the analysis of four currently isolated but growing areas of Stafford County, Virginia, comprising 3,635 acres: Boswell's Corner, Courthouse Area, Falmouth Village, and Southern Gateway. For this project, CMSS' challenge is to build on elements of the County's existing Comprehensive Plan, analyzing the current demographic, historical context, existing conditions, emerging trends, and development changes, as well as shifts in the economy, to create a new synergy and vision.
The Stafford County Redevelopment Master Plan addresses a strategic plan for zoning, infrastructure, road and streetscape development opportunities, and urban development concepts.
The plan identifies proposed and planned development including office, residential, historic, recreational, parks, hospitality, retail, commercial, and institutional, as well as parking functions. The plan will be implemented based on coordination with public agencies and market conditions.
