Albemarle Place

Albemarle Place is a dynamic new mixed-use development project located on the main regional shopping corridor of Route 29 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Developed in response to the growth of Charlottesville and the University of Virginia, the 80-acre village will provide an anti-sprawl living alternative, in the form of apartments, condominiums, and townhouses, for students and current Charlottesville and Albemarle County residents along the Route 29, transforming this underutilized, light industrial property into a cohesive mixed-use community. In addition to housing, the new district will feature a variety of other amenities including main street retail, two hotels, two public squares, offices space, structured parking, and a grocery store.
