Whether a new development or an existing urban area, usable public space is an essential element of any successful urban district. The Town Center of Virginia Beach’s Fountain Square is a testament to CMSS’ belief in the importance of dynamic public spaces and the amenities they provide.

Modeled after European public squares, Fountain Square represents an intriguing blend of civic planning and retail design. The plaza features a central fountain, Turkish marble paving and surfaces, classic streetlights, trees, and landscape elements. Like the plaza, the 44,000 square foot retail building was designed to be inviting and versatile, and offers a mix of shops, entertainment, and restaurant including Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, the Bravo! Cucina Italiana, and the Funny Bone Comedy Club.
