Old Beach Lofts
Located within walking distance of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, these new lofts provide the ultimate in contemporary and urban design.
Situated along 30th Street, a new gateway to the beach, CMSS designed the four-story, loft-style condominium building to front the street, while tucking parking behind, and enhanced the urban presence by designing the ground-floor façade to look like store fronts. The 38 units feature exposed structure and ductwork, concrete floors, open spaces, and covered porches. The lofts were designed to appeal to young, single, urban-oriented residents on their way up, with amenities including a movie room, community lounge, and shower facilities as well as individual storage space for most units.
The lofts, along with the more traditionally designed flats, make up a residential community with broad appeal – Old Beach Village. Future phases promise an additional 66 loft-style units.
