Studio 56
CMSS gave Studio 56 a head start on appeal. The five-story, 73,000 SF, high-end condominium building overlooks the excitement of the plaza outside Sandler Center for the Performing Arts and is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and entertainment opportunities.
To mirror the design of the adjacent Sandler Center, Studio 56 has a sweeping curve of glass from which residents can enjoy the bustle of city life from the comfort of their homes. The building has a modern industrial feel, incorporating exposed duct work, sealed concrete floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows in all units. To balance the use of metal and glass, the design team softened the units with warm colors and rich finishes.
The first floor accommodates the condominium lobby, retail space, and McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant. The remaining four floors house the condominiums, and the structure is topped with a rooftop deck.
